I Don't Want (my child) To Be Influenced By Starclan.
Is Starclan Real?
- Spoiler:
- Like the book series by Erin Hunter, Warrior Cats RPGs are typically directed towards younger children. Some RPGs allow minor swearing, but many do not.
Why Aren't I Allowed to Post Explicit Mating Scenes?
- Spoiler:
- Again, Warriors is directed towards younger children. PG-13 is usually the highest that any fair-minded administrator will allow anyone to go to with anyone, so there can be an implied mating scene - but really, who wants to read about cats having sex?
Why is there Blood and Gore on Warrior Cats RPGs?
- Spoiler:
- The influence of the main book series is very high in all of the websites bearing the name 'Warrior Cats'. In the book series, fights and blood are very common - warriors are willing to fight to their deaths for their Clan and Code.
While some websites allow major blood and gore scenes, the other half will have it kept to a minimum.
If you're squeamish about blood you should not join any Warrior Cats RPG.
Can I Be Too Old/Young For a Warrior Cats RPG?
- Spoiler:
- Some websites have age restrictions for younger children, i.e, no younger than 13, but I've yet to come across a site that won't allow people older than 17 to join. If you like the series, then however old you are shouldn't matter.
Why do Some Warrior Cats RPGs have Religion and Politics Boards?
- Spoiler:
- Religion and Politics are very touchy subjects, and these topics tend to create fights in the boards of an RPG as everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
Some RPGs ban the topics entirely, while others allow people to talk it over in a single board to avoid arguments in the main RPing boards
I Don't Want (my child) to Be Influenced By the People on the RPG - can you censor more words?
- Spoiler:
- How much censorship people have on their websites is their choice, not mine. There are general discussion boards on most Warriors RPGs. Members of these RPGs come not only from your own country, but all around the world.
There will be different religions, different upbringings, different beliefs and political parties - everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
I Don't Want (my child) To Be Influenced By Starclan.
- Spoiler:
- There are worse things to be influenced by - seriously. Assuming your child is highly impressionable, Starclan teaches kindness, fairness, shows how choosing to do what is right is far better than doing what is easy, and overall, compassion.
But then the obvious question comes around:
Why would a human child be influenced by dead cats?
Overall, if you're nervous about this topic, don't allow your child to play on our RPGs. Don't allow them to read the books or watch the animated clips on the Internet.
Don't come complaining to us as we did not create the Warriors franchise, we merely advertise it and continue it.
Is Starclan Real?
- Spoiler:
- Yes, I've been asked this - and no. So far as I know, Starclan isn't real. Neither is the Dark Forest, Tribe of Endless Hunting, Those Above, Those Below, etc., etc.
If they do, that's for the cats to know.
