CLOSED Appearing Back in Abyssclan

Hopeless, a servant of Abyssclan, was gathering ferns and feathers from the forest floor for Shadowstar's bedding.

Bursting in through the underbrush, Searingeyes appeared.
"Ah," he said when he saw the Servant.

Hopeless, upon seeing the Powerful, dropped the bedding and bowed low to the ground.
"Powerful."

Searingeyes regarded the Servant for a few moments then said, "Rise... You're Hopeless, yes?"

The servant nodded, not meeting his gold flashing eyes.

"Hmp." He ran towards the camp, thinking about what he had seen in her mind

Hopeless watched the Powerful as he left then picked up the bedding she had dropped and went to search for more.

Viletongue was stalking around, looking for a mouse, when he spotted Hopeless walking around with bedding.
He slowly crept up behind her, his paws barely making a sound as he came up next to her.
"Hey," he mewed in a deep, sinister voice.

Hopeless jumped, dropping the bedding again.
Seeing who it was, she bowed quickly, then went back to re-picking up the bedding, before doing so saying,
"Warrior."

Viletongue slowly looked over the young she-cat, sidling up to her.
"You know..." he purred. "I heard that Shadowstar is secretly weak... You, being his servant, would know this to be true, hmmm?"

Hopeless shrank back slightly at the warrior's closeness.
"I-I wouldn't know, Warrior..." She hurried in picking out bedding.

Viletongue's ears flicked when he heard Bloodclaw's call, but ignored it.
"Are you... suuuure?"

Hopeless, feeling a sudden surge of defiance, said,
"Won't Shadowstar punish you if he hears of this conversation? Of the fact that you did not follow him though he called to all warriors?"
She ducked her head, wondering where such courage came from.

Viletongue growled low in his throat, the fur between his shoulders rising, but he licked his shoulders to pretend that what the Servant had said hadn't bothered him.
He turned to leave, but said over his shoulder, "I wonder what Shadowstar will do to you, seeing as you're his Servant and you are not at his side like you should be.
He vanished from view, leaving a dismayed Hopeless.

Hopeless's heart filled with dread as she realized what the Warrior meant.
She quickly ran into the camp, spread out the bedding in such a way, bowed to the Protector and Choosing, and ran towards the border.
