Lokistar jumped on to the high ledge and yowled triumphantly:
"Let all cats able to catch their own prey join here beneath the highledge!"
She looked down as:
Solarstorm, Leopardstorm, Glaciercloud, Daystream,
Nightail, Darkcloud, Swallowpaw, Oakclaw, Swiftpaw,
Silverpaw, Ezziepaw, Tigerpaw and all the others joined
beneath, some looking confused and some looking proud.
Lokistar called ALL the apprentices up to her and they all
squeezed onto the log.
"It makes me proud to watch hard working apprentice's do their work well. I am proud to say that these apprentices really rise the ranks of Tawnyclan. Let us all bow our heads in respect of whitepaw's bravery and sacrifice." she bowed her head but heared Tigerpaw's claws rake the hard bark. Lokistar summond Swiftpaw up first.
"I, Lokistar, leader of Tawnyclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice . She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend Her to you as a warrior in her turn. Swiftpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?"
Swiftpaw mewed happily "I do."
"Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior name, Swiftpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Swiftstrike. StarClan honors your courage, strength and your skill and we welcome you as a full warrior of Tawnyclan."
Lokistar rested her muzzle on the new warriors head.
Swiftstrike licked her shoulder with respect and hopped down so the apprentice's could spread out a bit.
Swiftstrikes previous mentor; Leopardstorm started the chanting "Swiftstrike, swiftstrike..."
Lokistar called Silverpaw over and silenced them.
"I, Lokistar, leader of Tawnyclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice . She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend Her to you as a warrior in her turn. Silverpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?"
Silverpaw mewed excitedly "I do."
"Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior name, Silverpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Silverstream. StarClan honors your courage, intelligence and your patients and we welcome you as a full warrior of Tawnyclan."
Lokistar rested her muzzle on the new warriors head.
Silverstream leapt down and was welcomed by The chanting that Lokistar had started. Again it welled down and Lokistar called Ezziepaw up.
"I, Lokistar, leader of Tawnyclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice . She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend Her to you as a warrior in her turn. Ezziepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?"
Ezzipaw mewed happily "I do."
"Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior name, Ezziepaw, from this moment on you will be known as Ezziesong. StarClan honors your bravery, honour and determination and we welcome you as a full warrior of Tawnyclan."
Lokistar rested her muzzle on the new warriors head.
Lokistar led the chanting for her apprentice as she called Tigerpaw foreward.
"I, Lokistar, leader of Tawnyclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice . he has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend Him to you as a warrior in her turn. Tigerpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?"
Tigerpaw mewed "I do," determinedly.
"Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior name, Tigerpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Tigerflame. StarClan honors your Strength, understanding, determination and power and we welcome you as a full warrior of Tawnyclan."
Lokistar rested her muzzle on the new warriors head.
Daystream led the chant for his old apprentice and Tigerflame jumped down.
"Stormkit come here." Lokistar mewed. Everyone looked around a little surprised.
" This is a proud day for Tawnyclan, by naming apprentices we show Tawnyclan will survive and remain strong. Stormkit, from now on until you receive your warrior name you will be known as Stormpaw. Ezzzisong , you are ready for an apprentice, you will be Stormpaw's mentor. I know you will pass on your bravery, wisdom and determination to Stormpaw, and teach him the skills that will make him a brave warrior of Tawnyclan."
Ezziesong touched noses with Stormpaw.
The rest of the clan chanted both Ezziedays and Stormpaws names.
It died down and Lokistar looked down at them all.
"Tawnyclan," She mewed as eyes came back to her "I have yet to pick a deputy as i only have seven out of my nine lives left. The next week will determine who the next deputy will be... I will take to the coming gathering; Stormpaw, Solarstorm, Leopardstorm, Glaciercloud, Daystream, Nightail, Swallowpaw, Oakclaw, Swifstrike, Ezziesong, Silverstream and Tigerflame." She looked down as Darkcloud shouldered through.
"What about me?" She growled.
"You will stay here!" Hissed Lokistar "Abbysclan are coming to the next gathering and I want you to stay behind. Your big mouth upsets even the most deathest elder!"
Darkcloud stood down hurt though she knew that Lokistar only wanted her to guard the camp.
"Does anyone have anything to say?" She mewd.
